Welcome! I am so happy you are here! I began my sport journey at the age of three when I started recreational gymnastics through my local park district. Many years later, I was a top-level gymnast at a local club competing at national level competitions. While I had found some success athletically, I consistently struggled with fear, performance anxiety, and inconsistent performance that hindered my true potential.

After graduating high school, I continued my academic and athletic career at Lindenwood University. During my time at Lindenwood, my performance anxiety hit its peak resulting in being unable to compete, and I began working with a sports psychologist. Through my time working with her, I found a confidence that I had never known in my gymnastics career. I began to love my sport again! I could push myself to new limits, compete with confidence, and overcome challenges that use to stop me in my tracks.

After graduating from Lindenwood in 2021 with my bachelor's in business administration with an emphasis in Entrepreneurial Studies and a minor in Psychology, I began graduate school at Northern Illinois University to become a marriage and family therapist. Throughout my graduate school, I coached gymnastics at the same club that I grew up at where I saw the deep need for someone who could address the mental challenges that athletes face every day.

After graduating with my masters in 2023, I began working at a private practice where I've worked with a variety of mental health diagnoses, life difficulties, and varying levels of crisis care. I also began meeting with gymnasts for one-on-one mental skills training sessions.

These one-on-one sessions were the foundation for R.I.S.E. Mental Performance Coaching LLC. I am passionate about offering support to athletes to help them reach their full potential without getting in their own way. I offer the perfect blend of empathy from personal experience with mental challenges in sport with professional expertise and training. It is an honor to be a part of your journey!
